Division of Real Estate

The Mission of the Division of Real Estate is to serve, safeguard, and promote the public welfare by ensuring that qualifications and standards for licensed real estate related professions are properly evaluated, uniformly applied, and systematically enforced. We strive to provide efficient service through effective communication and transparency in operations, while maintaining a commitment to excellence with both consumers and the industry.


The Division of Real Estate regulates the following six professions and entities:

New option for paying application fees online!

Starting June 4, 2024, Division of Real Estate applicants and licensees will be able to submit payments for paper applications and transactions online using the IDFPR ePay website.

2024 Real Estate License Renewal Information and Assistance

The IDFPR- Division of Real Estate launched an updated renewal process that may be accessed via your IDFPR Online Services Portal Account. Below are a collection of links to help renewing licensees login, prepare, and submit the required License Renewal Application. If you do not have a Portal account, please see the Portal registration instructions below. If you have previously registered and are unable to log into your account, please email fpr.realestate@illinois.gov and request your login information be reset.

Now Accepting Applications for Community Association Manager Education Sponsor, Pre-License Courses, and CE Courses

The Division of Real Estate is now accepting applications for Community Association Manager Education Sponsors, Pre-License Courses, and CE Courses!

Community Association Manager licensees are required to complete certain pre-license and continuing education requirements to obtain and maintain licensure with IDFPR. Please see below for links to the relevant application forms.
